Helene DeVries, founder of HDV Talent, an executive search and talent advisory firm serving marketing, media, and communications organizations

Meet Helene

Before founding HDV Talent, Helene DeVries spent more than two decades leading talent acquisition within the marketing, media, and communications industry, partnering with CEOs and leadership teams on performance hires to shape growth and culture. Those years gave her an inside view of what great leadership looks like and a conviction that successful searches begin with a deep understanding of the business, not just the role.

She founded HDV Talent to bring a more thoughtful and hands-on approach to executive search. Every engagement is led by Helene personally, from the initial brief through the final offer. She invests the time to understand not only what a company is looking for, but where it is headed, what success will require, and the kind of leader who can help get it there.

Helene's down-to-earth pragmatism stems from her Dutch heritage and was influenced by her grandfather, a diamond cutter by trade. His work required patience, precision, and a trained eye to find extraordinary value where others saw only potential. She has never thought of her own work any differently.
